Our range of Russian Dolls are available in many different sizes and number of pieces inside each doll. The first thing you will notice is that sizes has no relationship to prices. As some of our small Connoisseur range of dolls are more expensive than our large Classic style Dolls.
Prices are based solely on the quality of the artists work and the time it takes to create, not on its respective size.
Matryoshka Dolls are also available in a multitude array of dolls inside dolls (or nests), from single piece dolls, to 2, 3,4 5,6,7, 10-piece or many more dolls inside. Our largest collectors dolls are available in sets up to 35 pieces in one! Again, number of dolls inside a Matryoshka Doll is not related to size, as we have a interesting range of mini 10-piece dolls.
Generally our range of Matryoshka Dolls are available in small medium and large with 5, 7 and 10 piece dolls being readily available at various price levels.
- Mini
- 15mm to 54mm - Generally available in sets of 5, with 10 piece dolls being slightly rare. Mini Matryoshka Dolls due to size tend to be painted traditional floral designs, however we occasionally do get some rather unusual pieces.
- Small- 55mm to 84mm
- The ideal “pocket money purchase range” and some of the best retail sellers. A fabulous range of colourful traditional styles typical 5-piece Matryoshka Dolls, however there are occasionally 3 and 4 pieces available.
Doll styles include traditional themes depicting flowers, berries, families and churches from our Classic range of Dolls. - Medium- 85mm to 144mm
- We have many different styles of medium sizes dolls from all our 4 ranges of
Classic, Collectable, Connoisseur and Christmas. From our Classic range you will
find the Traditional "Zagorks" Matryoshka Doll, with our range of
Funny Animals being another good seller from our Collectables range.
Generally available in sets of 5, with a few 3/4/and 7 piece variations available. - Large- 155mm to 184mm
- Again, an extensive array of dolls are available from our 4 ranges. This is
the typical Matryoshka Doll size, so we have a vast assortment of doll styles
from all of our 4 ranges available for you to choose.
Traditional dolls tend to be of a floral design, but take a close look at our Ckazka Fairytale dolls these are available in 5, 7 and 10 piece dolls.
As this is the more typical size of doll you will find many Collectables and Connoisseur Dolls in this size available at a wide range of prices. - Ex-large - 185mm and larger
- Generally our Ex-large Matryoshka Dolls come in 7, 10 or more pieces in
side.
Our Classic range includes floral, folktales and churches, whereas one of our most popular dolls from our Collectables range is the Russian Presidents Doll which is a 10-piece set.
The Connoisseur range takes you into the world of fine art masterpieces, where our range of Author Dolls, the finest quality Matryoshka Dolls depicts scenes from Russian fairytales or history that have fired the imagination of the individual artists to create truly one-of-a-kind Matryoshka masterpiece.

Our range is very extensive, but very unique as all the Matryoshka Dolls have been hand painted and created by artists working in the region traditionally known as The Golden Ring of Russia.
