The Brand Name derives its name from the region in Russia where Matryoshka Dolls originated which is renowned for producing the finest quality Arts & Crafts within Russia, and is traditional known as "The Golden Ring".

The City of Sergiev Posad, being the traditional birthplace of the Original Russian Doll. Has today become the epicentre for artists creating quality Matryoshka Dolls in Russian.

Our well established Trade Mark doll the “Zagorsk” style, being based on the original Russian doll design from the 1890's is today still produced at the same “Souvenir Workshop” in Sergiev Posad, that has been making Dolls in the traditional style since 1900. This doll style is truly authentic, and is also one our top sellers.
